Idaho BS thread in the PNW

Yeah, so I just looked at another TW thread, and visited the OVTune site and got the scoop on how it essentially reprograms the Taco to perform better than the factory settings. Some stuff in there about warranty and being able to factory reset it, etc...
Seems pretty worth it...
We can PM if you want, but what do you charge?
Do I have to update it every so often?
What are the biggest advantages?
Is there a "optimal" setting for the 19 SR5 taco, AT, that is like "the best" setting, or is it preference ?

So what I am noticing with my transmission, which I almost always drive with ECT on, is that the shifting is slow, clunky, just all around hesitation.... I hear thats normal, but man, its lame....

The ECT setting seems to have more pop, get up and go power.... its like, why the hell didnt you program it to drive like this always.

Got a new drone and I took it out testing the obstacle avoidance. I'm super impressed! Can't wait to take it out following the moto on dirt roads and maybe the Taco.

Seen it posted in here Edmark > Peterson from a service level. How about in terms of purchasing? Any feedback?

Been looking at getting a taco for a bit now as I've been driving the same Corolla for 9 years. Seems each time I've gone to Edmark though, picking is slim and balls completely in their court. Looked at used as well but again, slim picking on a 3rd gen it seems. Or would it be worth it to just hold out longer..

 

Skydio 2, it's amazing! I'm super impressed with it so far.

 

I believe @m3bassman has said something before about purchasing from one of the two so I would see what his expertise says.

 

I’ve got some 3rd gen takeoff suspension w/2000 miles. It’s about to go to the dump is anyone interested? It fits 2nd gens and gives a better ride especially to older suspension.

 

Any more details like location and year and model truck is it from?

I have a friend with an '18 DCSB Offroad that is considering replacing his high mileage stuff with the same as what he has now?

 

I’m located in Hailey but willing to drive around. It’s all the factory stuff the guy didn’t even take it off the dealership when he swapped out to icon. I put all the miles on. I believe it was from a 2019 OR and it’s front and rear shocks, rear leafs, U bolts, upper control arms, front coils. Everything is ready to just bolt on.

 

That stuff looks like its in great condition. What were you hoping to get for it?

 

I picked it up for 450$ so I’d be happy with 300$
