I would like to step up my game some Hopefully I will haul my Taco down on a trailer this time so that I potentially have less holding me back. I am still a little chicken about things that may cause body damage though haha

 

I'm looking forward to doing Kanes Creek again. Might even do the end section at a somewhat reasonable speed the next time. Instead of trying to keep up with batman and jlee.

I have stepped it haha I'm more then happy to thrash the truck. I still like going at a nice easy pace tho...well...okay not really..but not super fast...briskly I guess haha

Brady, what are you doing the 12-14th and what is your proximity to IF and St. Anthony sand dunes?

 

Fixing it won't be a problem I'm a certified mechanic. Hell if I can talk derpface through a lift install over the phone, I should be able to build a particle accelerator!

 

Body damage?!?! People don't care about that. I get all mine before moab, and then I don't care if I get more.

 

Hopefully Gecko Ben will have sliders this time and he won't slow us down so much.

Brant and I were going to go to the dunes today but he got a call last night about his wife's grandma dying so that went out the window. He may try to catch up with JW in IF tomorrow and hit up the dunes. I have a 50th anniversary party to go to tomorrow though... I can't go wheeling for shit anymore

IF is about 45 minutes away from me and the dunes are about another 45 minutes from there.

 

Really it just depends on how into wheeling you want to get. With glass fenders and LT kits, 35's are a reasonable fit. But going above 35's gets hard unless you SAS it. SAS offers pretty much unlimited lift, where as we are limited to about 3" up front with IFS due to CV angles.

If I don't SAS my Taco one day, then I may go n0rth's route with 36's or so. If I do I want to shoot for 40's

Hey Adam, $8500 for a built 4runner. Only has 500 miles on the 22re (not sure if that is 500 miles since rebuild or it if is a brand new 22re.)

You would have to have a single rock come up just right between the links to get your DS. A ledge ate mine and these links would work as sliders for the ledge. Although that would mean you either need more speed or your front end needs enough traction to drag you up the ledge. haha

We would be leaving in the afternoon on friday and driving there. So its doubtful we would get much time to actually play on the dunes that day (maybe at night??) but you could drop by in the evening and we could hang out and BS and drink a bit

Hmm... i doubt I could hang... I have a super early morning Saturday. You will be driving right through Poky though if you wanted to drop in. haha
