Sabre - I have no idea how hard the trail is actually. But feel free to ride with one of us. I usually don't have much more than a bunch of internet forums and google earth when I start off on these things myself. I've managed to escape with nothing worse than pinstripes so far. It would be great to have you along. Feel free to park at North Bend or somewhere near Roslyn.

Sorry - not sure if it's technically called the sig. It said, "If anyone's havin sex with mah sister it's me!"

I'm getting a new transmission put in tomorrow, so I'm guessing there's a break in period before I'm hitting trails again. Otherwise I think I would be going.

Word of advice, I would suggest just getting people at the meet up spot, then heading over for the forest pass as a group - always seems there's at least two guys who need passes the day of, and don't know where to go, so makes things easier planning it in. Just my 2 cents :)

oh I see, THAT list. If I get an apartment squared away friday there is a good chance I might come down that way.

    Howdy Boris
I'm right down by Lynnwood in Everett at the moment (probably moving to Mukliteo next month). I will have to keep an eye out for your truck.

Chickenmunga - Thanks for the winch/bumper help. Just curious, how many miles on your tranny? What do you suppose caused it to need replacement?

About this Saturdays meet - 0900 at BK sounds good. I will be there! Are we sure the North Bend station is open on Saturday? Judging from this site, looks like its only M-F?

Not sure. I called them on Wednesday and the message said they are open at 08:00AM Saturday. The Cle Elum Ranger Station message did say they are closed on Saturday. I'll call first thing in the morning and make sure. If they aren't open Saturday, I can run over there Friday and get passes for anybody that needs one.

Thanks for bringing that to our attention though. I'm getting really stoked for Saturday!

IF they are not open on Saturday and you will need a pass, PM me and let me know if you want the $30 annual pass or the $5 day pass. I can get the passes in advance for you.

55k. The forward transmission pump failed (fluid was good, levels were good, temp good). Everyone seems kind of baffled that something like that would happen. I was going to pick the truck up tonight, but it took 1.5 hours to get to Auburn. Freaking JBLM traffic, reminds me of Portland.

Got word from the dealer that the truck was done yesterday, but I couldn't get there in time, so picking up today. The transmission is a rebuild, so break-in is already done.

Got nothing to do this weekend...

I think I might just make this!
