Im going by body style more than anything. I know that 4runner in the pic is a second gen runner cuz the trekker doesn't count it was never named a 4runner. as far as the pickups go there are 3 gens and that's what I was getting at.

Nice find dude! Now we need to go on a month long trip to Alaska next summer. I've been dreaming about a trip like that.

Am I the only person who works? Haha srs

Well off to take out the overhead console, hoping to find my rattle fix in there, maybe the harness is flopping up there and driving me nuts

Edit: sure enough there was a loose harness and plug up there, wrapped it up and we'll see if it's all good tomorrow. 2 minute fix and the dealer wouldn't touch it because of my IMMRYO mirror bracket bs

Here's mine after paint. I still need to add the fender molding and the factory decals. I'm looking for a set of Limited 4runner wheels to wrap 255/85 tires on and install my rebuilt 4.88 diffs. It's coming together, though not as cool as my last one.

Those wheels and tires would complete that 4Runner!
Beautiful I must say, how many miles? What's interior look like?

Interior is near mint, every option available in '87 is on this thing. It even has the sunroof cover! Just under 250K miles. 22RE/W56

Brady, I think those tires are winder than I'm looking for. Will have to do some research. I want something around 33x9.5 or 33/10 at the most. I dig the pizza cutter look and performance.

As happy as I am that the 4runner is coming along, I'm missing my Taco! The new rear end should be done in about 3 weeks!

It looks good in person too.

I'm looking for some 255/80/17 right now. Everyone on CL won't separate tires and wheels
