Mild trails around Tualatin?

My girlfriend wants me to take her on some trails but she said "nothing scary" it'll be her first time off road. Any suggestions close to Tualatin/Portland area?

 

Go out to Estacada. Not too far from Tualatin, nice scenery and the trails arent too diffucult

 

The place in Estacada most people go is Goat Mountain, which is being fixed up right now. Also not a real mild place from what they are going to make it into.

Go to the Barlow Toll Road near Government Camp. If you look at the sticky for this section, there is lots of information.

 

Why not just go to Browns camp

 

Brown's easy trails are fairly few before getting to moderate levels, which can be a bit intimidating for the first timer, which it sounds like might be too much for the GF.
Barlow you can do in a day and acts as a good gateway to more.
It sounds like the OP wants to drive alone, which is something you shouldn't be doing when 4x4ing for safety reasons. However, Barlow is tame enough that you really have to screw up to get yourself stuck, yet provides a nice adventure.

 

I'll have to try Barlow, I may have a couple others come out, I grew up in the gorge so we always went above Mosier, Sherman County, or up above Mount Hood.
I' really do not want too take her with me but I'd rather not get bitched at

 

ive tried to find barlow road a couple time and still haven't found it. even on Google maps it doesn't come up with anything. Hope someone can give me some directions. Ive gone up and down HW 26 looking for it

 

Go to where HWY 26 and 35 meet and continue on 35. Go to NF 3530
