Looking for person to weld in Puget Sound

I'm going to be installing a pile of suspension stuff on my 04 Tacoma in a month or so, one of those things being Total Chaos spindle gussets. My roommates have a small stick welder, but I've heard that spindle gussets should be MIG welded and if you do it wrong, you can drastically weaken the spindle.

My roommates and I know just enough about welding to be dangerous and I would rather have someone who knows what they're doing do the welding, if possible.

Do I need to remove/replace my front wheel bearings?

So I'm looking for someone I can the gussets and spindles to to have it done, or have someone come over. Beer, pizza, cash all on the table for payment.

Id strip the spindles down a far as you can and have them off the truck. The heat from welding can hurt other things.

id help ya out..but i a few hours away..and hundreds of miles haha

Couldn't hurt after the welding. Might as well while it apart.

 

yeah, good call. i just picked up some timken bearings and seals. i've got quite a growing pile of parts to install!
