    Hey guys my wife and I are doing a road trip up north in a few month. We will be passing through and would like some recommendation on places too see and dine. We would like to stop in Portland, Tacoma, and Seattle. Don't mind a little detour. Thanks in advance.

    It's got some Mods
    I heard there is a brewery in Portland that specialized in sour beers. I don't know the name of it but heard it is amazing. I'm sure one of the Portlanders will chime in. Tons of Breweries in Seattle too if that's your thing.

    Don't waste your time at Seattle breweries. Portland has better ones :p:p:p:p

    As far as the Sour beer its Cascade Brewing Barrel House in SE

    boneyard in bend is suppose to be good. they have a handful of good ones down there as well.

    Id like to stop in bend on the way through and pick up a rtt, but that prob won't happen. Most likely stayin in town.

    Everyone has different taste as far as things to do when traveling, but some of the things that were recommended to me : Tillamook Cheese factory in Tillamook OR, is pretty neat. Cannon Beach in Oregon is nice, drive up to the house where Goonies was filmed. Seaside OR is nice too. Portland itself has great breweries and great coffee houses. Both Portland and Seattle have great restaurants!

    Take pictures so we can feel like we're on vacation too!

    The Bend area is awesome. If you enjoy the outdoors at all, there is NO end to activities/sights there.

    I grew up in the Portland/Vancouver area and now live just north of Seattle, so I have a few years' experience.

    In PDX: The Gorge (hiking, sights, Multnomah Falls), Powell's Books, Pittock Mansion, NW 23rd Ave, tons o' breweries, great restaurants.

    In Seattle: Pike Place (super touristy but definitely cool) and Post Alley, Hurricane Ridge (great views of the Olympics), Ivar’s Acres of Clams, North Cascades Highway (Highway 20), plenty of hiking and sights in the Cascades ...and of course CenturyLink Field, home of the World Champion Seahawks!

    You can probably skip Tacoma. Can't stand that place haha!
