    Just wanted to thank you for your suggestion. I had a great, fast drive. Almost smacked a deer crossing at one point and underestimated the need for a fuel up. My only regret was not packing my camera for the trip. Didnt get to stop and explore much since I was on a schedule.

    Since you are in those neck of the woods, i was curious if you have been near eagle cap area recently and could update me on conditions? I have been there a few springs back and wish i had spent more time. Will make a trip back for sure.

    this was the car i beat all the way to montana

    Sweet whip! My boss drives an old school cooper. They are street legal go-carts.
    I have driven to Enterprise and Imnaha this winter, but not lately. I did have a meeting with the dude that runs the avalanche center, and they would be the ones to talk to if you want to bring some snow shoes and get into the back country. The guy who runs it treks into the wilderness area with skis and 'shoes daily to dig holes in the snow and assess conditions. He's hardcore!
