    Hey Guys!

Let me know when/where you are doing install. I can lend a hand if needed. Better yet, I can supply some of the liquid compensation required for a tough job like this!

I am in Hillsboro, and have yet to meet a fellow TW member in the area.

hmm i think someone on here told me that i could just run the front 5100s and the 1.5" AAL and i would be fine. do i need the rear 5100s also or is there something else i could do?

This is sounding like a Portland area meet now.

I have an impact wrench, one of the electric/corded ones, and a decent 1/2" breaker bar, no metric sockets but a 13 & 15 mm in the 3/8"th drive if neded.

I'm mostly interested in seeing them 5100s and seeing th steps for a front install,no prob helping too.

No idea if you "have to" do rear 5100s if you do add a leaf though ,sorry.

Hey, btw, did you have the regular or Bilstein factory shocks, and how do you like the new 5100s overall/onroad/bumpy roads? I don't put hardly any offroad miles on my truck any given year, and not really sure I need the new Bilsteins.

so i still dont know if i can use the stock bilsteins with the AALs. but i was looking on wheelers, should i just get the 3" revtek lift? has anyone had experience with that? why did you go with that instead of the 5100s?

nice i hang out there all the time cus so many of my friends live in mililani, plus my gf lives sunset beach. yeah it is quite a drive from kailua to her house, but now that ive been driving up in the mainland its not bad. took me 3 hours to mt.hood last weekend.

i see youve got the 5100s on your truck. do you happen to know if i put 1.5" AALs on, do i need to change my rear stock bilsteins? relentlesstaco said they are going to be a bit short but i didnt know if that meant im screwed or if i need to change something

I was in Pearl Harbor when Hurricane Iniki hit, learned to dive there.Couldn't get stationed there so I got out in "93" lol. Favorite things were hiking where the tourists weren't, and rock diving, just North of the Bhuddist temple, if I recall.

There was a local staion covering the Hurricane, they showed a 85-90ish toyota pickup playing in the surf washing into a parking lot. Later it stalled, the tires were big enough to float it somewhat, really tossed it around. When I saw the commercial where the surfer leaves his Tacoma and it gets tossed around in the surf I died laughing.

I wouldn't advise using the stock shocks with the AAL. They aren't long enough, and if you hit a bump wrong the shock can come apart from the overextension.
I tried to get a fairly comprehensive post going on the rest of the stuff here.

So we got 1 truck to work on, 1 garage, 3 loads of tools, 2 guys working, and about 4 more who man the beer. The math around here ain't bad!
If this does become a meet, I'm in if my schedule permits. Heck, I might even have my parts in order. Getting a build day started would be kinda cool.
I think a keg and a BBQ should be required tools.

Here is my truck with the Revtek and blocks. (and TSB Springs). I have read that the 5100's ride better. Revtek was on truck when I bought, and ride is a bit rough. I will probably go with 5100's when the cashflow improves. I am running 285-75-R18 tires.
