Wow the land is majestic. You made me look up Bear

Thanks Weesa! That place is like my backyard, I try to get there every chance I get! I had a Moose grazing about 20 yards away from my camp, it was pretty awesome!

Yea, shits nuts. The first one was close to our apartment but we hid at work. The last one on friday was closer. We hid in a hospital, it just missed us by probabl a mile or two tops. Honestly was so concerned with making sure the girls were safe and ok, didnt really have time to get scared. Checked out thedamage tody, pretty hard to believe. Tried to get photos but i dunno if they turned out ok. If thy did ill try to post them.

I know it will not happen this year but maybe next year. Our son wants to go back to Yellowstone. And so do I.

 You get your own personal campsite mooses over there too? I must go...

Glad you're OK Mac! I take it you've ruled out taking any premanent employment in that area in the future?

You go this year, I'll take the trip to Italy and you come here. I'll even let you guys stay in my apartment...

I told you that you were wasting your time in Moab. Shoulda come here instead...but no one ever listens to me...

    Antonio! What's new?

besides the storms and the humidity its a interesting place to live, i dont hate it as much as I thought i would. Have yet to really see a night on the town tho, been to busy with work and homework. This is some of the worst storms they have had in a while, and the most they have had consecuatively for a long time. So just kinda crappy luck. The one on Friday broke a record for widest tornado I guess.

Thanks man, yea this would only happen to me since I bought a new car lol I was wishing I had my truck when the storms blew through, just felt safe in the ol' girl. also would have made traveling through flooded streets and over debris easier.

Got a big group together and camped on the Boulder and tried getting up towards Blue lake yesterday. Made it a few switchbacks up towards the plateau and the snow got too deep.

Ahhh...so you have done your research  Pretty sure that area is a July-September only sort of place.
There were big, scary rocks :(
But it was beautiful up there and I'll glad that we made it. Just wish we could have stayed overnight at the top instead of rushing back down
