    And if you're shipping your truck what are you going to do with tent and your gear? When I shipped my car back from AK they insisted that there was to be nothing in the vehicle. No to mention that they don't care about your vehcile. My car was on the bottom tier of the truck and the car above it had a coolant leak...my paint was completely ruined. Plus I'd be worried that the driver would misjudge the clearance of a bridge and rip the tent off :laugh:

    I've done a little research into it but not much...

    Some other things need to fall into place this Spring for it to work out like that.

    I'll pick your brain more as we get closer to figuring out what to do.
    And I'd like to keep it to a level that anyone would feel welcome regardless of vehicle and experience.

    Are you shipping it both ways? If you're just looking at shipping one way I would suggest shipping from here back home - that way you don't have to worry if something breaks. And for God's sake please grease the driveshaft before you come out here.

    No idea - we'll start getting things settled in the spring. Meet won't happen until July or August depending on Homer's schedule

    This is a trail I really want to do next summer. Can't be done in the sprig due to water level at the 28 river crossings but as you can see from the video, it is not bad at all later in the summer.

    I actually didn't have a problem with Morrison, the north end anyway. There were a couple of spots that I was just muttering "oh shit, I'm sorry Toy, oh shit..." but ended up doing just fine. Still can't remember where or how I pulled off my mudflap...

    When I brought my Subie back from AK they told me nothing was to be inside because they don't lock the vehicles. :eek: Maybe it depends on the carrier
