    Ewww...
I saw your truck stopped somewhere in the park. I couldn't pull over at the moment though.

What is the time frame that you'd be passing back through MT?

I know lol, you guys mess around a lot in here, I've learned to just assume that 99% of the time haha.

Yup, Lisa, am home for break, just a few days more, and then I'm back to the flatlands...with the flatlanders. The company makes up for it though, even if my 4R only sees dirt once a semester. :p

    Hey all

Hey Lisa, my dad is trying to go glutton free. Any tips on some good food stuffs for him? His doctor recommended trying it to loose a litle weight and that it might help his joints. Hes starting to get back on the treadmill and working out a little bit as well.

CLEAN UP ON AISLE 4! :angrygirl:

There's two ways to approach the gluten free thing - 1) learn to look at food differently and just get any gluten containing foods out of your diet all together or 2) if you just can't give up certain things then find a GF substitute but think of it as a "treat" and not a staple of your diet.
If the doc recommended it for weight loss its probably because being GF means giving up baked goods, fast food, fried food and prepackaged/processed food altogether...and all of the fats and additives and crap that goes along with them.
For bread type products try the Udi's brand. WalMart carries their bread in the freezer aisle and a few of their cookies. Its the closest thing to real food that I've found. Tinkyada makes good pasta - available at walmart and safeway. Pamelas pancake mix is good, Kind granola bars, Glutino crackers.... Progresso soups makes a few GF varieties. Watch out for cereals, lunchmeats (and hot dogs), buttered popcorn, seasoning mixes...they're all sources of gluten.
There's a natural foods store in Helena that has a butt load of GF stuff and Rosauers and Country Foods here in Bozeman have a good selection of stuff.
Tell who ever does the grocery shopping to get used to reading every single label on the food before you buy it. Most brands have gotten really good about labeling for gluten, soy, milk and nuts and will usually have a warning in bold print.
 And who'd you come to when you decided to switch, butthead?

They are. Even though I like glutens, I really gotta stay off it. Reminds me, I need to make GF granola for you guys.

True this, also go online to companies websites. I found that there are a lot of basic foods that are gluten free that people stop eating.:)

More like, "hello, my name is Lisa and I can't stop spending money on my truck. I'm a mod-aholic"
And yes, we have a few get togethers every summer. I try to keep things pretty tame so that everyone can join in regardless of experience or vehicle capabilities.

    ...annnnddd...queue HomerTaco in 5, 4...3.....2.......1 :spy:

I know we'll have at least one big meet this summer, Homer wants to come back to MT so I promised him a meet.
Beyond that I'm not sure...I might do a backroads of Yellowstone tour or something. No wheeling on that one though, just getting to see some amazing wild areas.
