Hey I've been living up here in Novato for about 6 months and I've been looking to take my quad out along with my truck here in the north bay. (Hollister Hills is too far). Anybody got some places or have some quads and wanna go? I've been to Cow Mountain but was alone and couldn't fully enjoy it with the fear of being stuck alone. haha Thanks guys!

Cow mountain is the closest place I know of, then there is lake Pillsbury but even further. I use to ride my enduro at both places by myself on Mondays when I had the places to myself years ago.

I'm in Santa Rosa but for you it must be really far to drive to Ukiah. I have seen guys riding dirt bike next to the hwy 37 east bound on ramp in Novato by 101 junction. I don't know if they get chased off or not but I see them there quite often, when I go fishing.

My friend told me cow mountain was pretty fun. I have not been, but would be up to go mess around there sometime!

    Coastie,

I'd be down to come up and go to Cow Mtn. with you sometime. Are you stationed at USCG Island Alameda?

Cow mountain is ok, but nothing special.

I'm in Novato too...same thing I go up to Cow mountain to shoot, but not much wheelin because I don't have another vehicle with me if I get stuck. Let me know if you anyone goes up to Cow or Pillsbury...If I'm not working I'll head up.
& as for that spot off 101 & 37 it's blocked off now!

Cause some dude on a dirtbike messed himself up bad. You can still get in there from the Costco side but it isn't worth it since it seems the owner of the property is now actually trying to really keep people out.

You can get there and Novato PD might say something and might not...you're not suppose to be out there, but be my guest.
