Hey guys I am looking for a few pointers regarding things to do in Half Moon Bay.

Taking the GF for our anniversary this weekend.
Just doing a day trip, hoping for some good input.
I think I have a restaraunt chosen, mostly looking for fun stuff to do.

HMB Brewery. Lunch. If you want a nice dinner, hit the Moss Beach Distillery (just a bit North of HMB).

Pretty much, the downtown is walking and antique stores. There are a couple of horseback riding places.

Other than eating at the CHART HOUSE.....there are some cool "private" beaches that you can only access through the farmer's land out there. There is always Mavericks too....bout all I can think of right now though.

    Hi Ian, how are you?

Thanks for the input guys, considering horseback riding.
Looks like a high of 58, might alter plans altogether. Why can't GF's plan this type of shit?

    Princeton street area?
I made a reservation at Mezzaluna for dinner, got some good feedback from co-workers.
It's right there by Princeton street, obviously I dont know the area at all.

Open to ideas besides HMB especially with the weather forecast. Can cancel dinner plans.
Was considering hot air balloon in Napa or something also, again weather looks like poo.

Hoping someone had a kick ass cant miss experience and give some advice.
Considering Monterey and Carmel too, just dont know what to do there.

    I'm good.

I'd go. It might be a bit chilly but WTF. You can always wear a jacket. If you go down into Princeton, there's always Ketch Joanne for breakfast.

Mezzaluna is good. You'll like it.

Weather everywhere is gonna suck (compared to what it should be normally). Besides, after the horseback ride, you might get lucky ;)

Oh yeah. That wave? This is what it looks like from the bluff overlooking the break.

Well half moon bay only has so much. And it depends on what your girl is into. In Monterey of course there is the Monterey Bay Aquarium...which never gets old. And there are some beautiful things to see there. Hell go skydiving if you want something more exciting! Elephant seals along hwy 1 close to Bonny Doon south of HMB...Santa Cruz Boardwalk, west cliff drive and steamers lane, down town santa cruz, Mystery spot, hwy 9, big basin state park, crows nest is a good place to eat on the ocean in SC, SC warf, not much in watsonville so stay on hwy 1 S and TRY to get reservations at the Whole Enchilada in Moss Landing on your way to Monterey, in Monterey there is Fishermans warf, cannery row and top dollar shopping, the best kids playground dennis the mennace park, lots and lots of stuff really, maybe something going on at the race track by monterey in laguna seca I think...
