When is the rain/snow gonna stop?

Memorial Day is the so called "unofficial start of summer" but man, it sure feels like the start of winter.

Tonite's WX forecast says showers tomorrow followed by showers on Wednesday (with a chance of T-storms in the Bay Area). Saturday and Sunday, rain. Snow in the Sierra.

Please, pray for sunshine and soon

Been dry on the FR for a while now.

Those winds are vicious too. Aren't they called Chinooks? I went on the tour at NCAR while I was house sitting for some friends in Ned. I just remember there were a couple of nights I thought the house was gonna get blown away

It's just that when winter begins in full force in early November, continuing it into June is just too long, especially when we only have one month of summer lately (July was the only warm month last summer). Looks like this summer will be similar to last year's.

It's been in the upper 80's - lower 90's the past couple days here, with sunshine. Just sayin....

But I feel for you though. We've been getting a lot of rain too. It was really getting old!

Normally, the weather is killer starting around Memorial Day. Consistent temps and sunshine. This year, it would be easier to note the days we've had sunshine than it would the days we have not

I'm hoping this means we can still have campfires in the Sierra into early July at least

Drove out to Reno this weekend to visit some family. Woke up Sunday morning to almost an inch of snow on my truck. It melted fast, like within an hour or so but still cool.

Meh....I'm ok with the weather. Go ahead, flame on.

I don't have AC in my house and I have no problems with a short "summer". I'm one of those guys where I'm actually quite content during inclimate weather. I didn't get the 4wd option in all the vehicles I own for nothing!
