Good Bay Area Off-Road Shop?

Been to 4WParts. I'm not sure they're that great.

Any other places that are knowledgeable and trustworthy near San Jose?

 

whadya want to have done? For most straightforward stuff, the recommendation is to DIY or do it at a mod day so that if your junk breaks on the trail, you know how to fix it.

Most of us buy parts mail order.

A lot of work gets done at "mod days"

Diablo off road and performance, located in walnut creek, owner is a friend of mine very reasonable price, just a neighborhood truck shop, he've done anything from SAS, engine swap custom build bumpers to the simple stuff like oil changes and brake jobs.

SWAT Customs in Fremont. you can Yelp them too, outstanding reviews. and they can beat/match prices...

only two of the four people are still active on this site. your not going to get much from this thread it's nearly 10 years old. Try auto sound performance in south city.

 

Schafers in Alameda, Milogen in Milpitas are another 2 I would toss in. Depends what you need done.

 

What do you want done? I know a couple others but depends on what you need setup. San Mateo/San Carlos area.
