i would bet the stan adopted the policy @ the same time . got a heads up from a forrester who thought i should roll my rounds quite a bit further to the "road" . by his account offroad type laws are being upheld and enforced more this year than in the past . could be he needed that merit badge for his sash or they have the go ahead to shake down every last penny from a already emaciated trickle of cash from honest people who had to do a whole lot of ,planning ,driving and ,spending to bring us commerce up here . really , not trying to be inflamitory but these type of policys and closures are what creates the vacume effect on a community , allowing disintrested corparations to trive off "tourist dollars" instead of mom and pops getting by selling to folks who feel a sense of stewardship and genral goodwill that only a rocky ass 4x trail can give . :rant:that is all

^oh and good luck have fun mike

Here's the FS stuff. There will be public meetings which, if you can attend, would be great.

Hopefully, you can visit the FS link and at least provide some comments as you see fit.
