You could always have a Pillsbury/ Hull Mountain/ Indian Valley Reservoir trip. It would be about 45 minute to an hour drive.

I'm up north of Santa Rosa in Mendocino, but I am usually down there a few times a month. Cow mountain in ukiah is a good place to off road too.
