NORCAL: Camping & Wheeling - Deer Valley - 8/23-8/25

Yeah I just moved over to Fairfield a little closer to base, But I'm over in Vacaville all the time so we will be sure to run into each other sooner or later.

 

I am planning on leaving Friday evening as well and will be down to meet up to caravan with you guys. Is there a list of things people are bringing for camping? So far I'm bringing food, shelter, and booze.. missing anything?

 

Sounds like the basic things needed to survive!!

I'm bringing 50's, beer, some meat and my smoker.

MJ, text me when you guys are rolling into Sac and I'll meet up with the caravan on the way through?

 

I think we are meeting in Stockton... Sac would be about 2 hours out of the way heading to Deer Valley from the Bay Area. But I'm sure we can all meet at the Autozone in Stockton and drive together.

Should we be starting a thread for a Caravan group?

Vacaville is way better then Fairfield. Unless you ment California in general then yeah I can't wait to move back up to Oregon.

 

Hmm didn't realize there was a south route, we shall see how far out of the way Stockton is for me.

 

we can always meet in Angels Camp. We did that last time for the Slick Rock trip when we met with the Sac folks

edit - dude just take 99 down and meet us lol. it's not that far off for you and then we wont have to stop a 2nd time

 

Angles camp is a dead zone for more cell phones I vote take 99 I'd hate to wait for someone in angles camp that's hours late or not coming.

 

Random first world problem I know but...is there cell service at the camp sites? Does anyone know? Hate to leave the wifey hanging if something happens while I'm gone.
