hey gang, can anyone recommend a good lift-kit installer in the SF Bay Area, preferably in the East Bay?

i have a 2009 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 and I'm considering doing a Toytec 3" lift, but where can I go to have the lift installed?

    TIA,

    Jason

Dragging up this old thread, for any new info.

4 wheel parts in San Jose doesn't want anything to do with my new '11 Tacoma. They're afraid I'll end up with VSC issues and they'll have to remove the kit.

I've talked to Les Schwab in San Carlos - decent guy and quote, but their prices on BF Goodrich tires about make me croak, and I don't want to install the Toyo's that they keep in stock at competitive price.

On other forums I've heard a good word about Redline Motorsports in Burlingame - anyone got anything good or bad to say about them?

Most the Norcal lift kits get installed at PRS garage in Roseville. Prices are very competitive... :)

OK, let me start off by saying that Les Schwab only installs Revtek spacer lift kits which I would highly recommend avoiding.

Redline Motorsports is cool but Ben's prices are kind of high and it's all the way in Burlingame.

There is also General Tire in Redwood City but install lifts at fairly high price.

I know a personal friend who used to install all the lift kits over at California Concepts, Redwood City. If you didn't know, California Concepts was a very reputable shop and were known for their top-notch quality. However, the shop closed a couple years ago due to lack of business. I can give you my friend's phone number if your interested. He will install your lift for a reasonable price at his own house or shop.

If I were you, I would buy my wheels and tires off of Discount Tire and just bring it to him.

I ultimately decided to DIY. Ordered my OME kit from Wheelers. I'll get aligned at a local shop I've been using for years.
