I have a shitty board right now so I have been wanting to try out some different camber profiles I looked around on that website and your Jones recommendation and came across the Jones Flagship. I wish I could try the differences between a rocker and a hybrid camber.

    PM sent

P.S. I was hoping to go up next weekend with a new board...

I doubt I'll be riding next week. You can borrow my NS Cobra which is a rocker camber profile. I also have a Burton T6. Traditional camber, super light, and a god damn rocket. I've also got a a huge 163w Burton Joystick hanging in the garage. This board has a complete rocker profile. It's shaped like a banana, floats awesome, and can butter for days. Not meant for speed at all, but all are at your disposal if you want to borrow something. We're similar in build so I'm sure all my gear will work for you.

I went to NS yesterday. We went into the glades right past "The Chute". A solid 10" of powder back there. It was great. Anyone going up these next few days? I think I'm going NS tomorrow, Alpine Monday, then S shore Tuesday/Wednesday.

I'm heading up Monday. Thinking somewhere off 80, Squaw or Sugar Bowl. Any takers? Also anybody know links for cheaper tix to either spot?

Edit: squaw for sure. Holla if your interested. Leaving here +- 0600

I'm heading out Sunday. Who has the best coverage so far? I'm thinking we'll probably go to Squaw or Alpine.

Hit Squaw on Monday. It was fun. Decent coverage and fresh snow falling. Only the upper lifts were open tho, Gold Coast, Shirley Lake... Couldn't ride all the way down so you had to take the gondola. Kinda sucks. But not bad for early season.

I'm going up tomorrow, will anyone else be going, I'd really hate to be going all by myself

I made it up today. I have mixed feelings about it. I appreciate that it's a million times better than this time last year. It was no visibility and heavy, sticky snow though. Overall it wasn't bad. I can't complain about a soft base when the alternative is ice.

Haven't heard much about the snow lately on here. Other sources say it hasn't been getting any better.

I was up at northstar this past Wednesday and Thursday....I can't complain...it was decent all things considered. I stayed mostly in the park where they blow a fair amount of snow. I can't speak for the rest of the mountain.

I'm taking my 3 (almost 4) year old out for his first time tomorrow. Either Alpine or Squaw.

Who has better snow or trails for a kid his age?
