Hey All

Is anyone in the Monterrey area able to work on a Forerunner motor for dirt cheap or free? Some folks have hit hard times and could use some help.

To all of my husbands' friends,
Please help
We are having a family crisis and I actually dreamt this, so I am trying it...who knows some of you may need this in return and believe me when we can we will more than happily return this favor. My hubby JP and I were laid off and we are about to lose pretty much everything. My grandfather had a heart attack
last week while visiting us here in Northern California. He is 80, doing seemingly well and recovering back at home in Monterey but both our vehicles are in no way capable of making the 4 hour drive to check in on him from time to time. I had a nightmare childhhood, my husband is my heart, and my grandfather is the last person in that area that I have any real bond and complete love for. He needs an engine new or rebuilt in his Toyota 4 Runner, which is a 1984, and my Suburban does have back fees, but the fuel would be an arm and a leg traveling
to and from Monterey every week or so. Cutting to the short of this, if there is such a thing,I am going to ask help from each and everyone of you, his friends. In my dream this was called a "Lending Hand Tree". I am asking, almost pleading for each of you to donate, or gift, or just send $10, $20 hell at this point $5 dollars would help out tremendously, if anyone would be willing to help. We help out other people in other countries so
much in times of need, donate to the red cross or send a text to donate money, and this time its my family that really needs help. I know so far I have only mentioned needing to get money for the vehicles, or 1 of our vehicles but its much more than that, we are about to lose our house. I need a boost, a little helping hand so to speak until we get back up out of this rut we have been in since being laid off. What I am asking is
maybe some of you, all of you, or just any of you could send a donation...a gift of help is what it really is, to his PayPal account, in any amount, anything would be helpful. My husband is not a person who believes in things like what I dreamt about, But I had the dream for a reason. I know we, as people, have an
intuition to know when someone really needs help, and I am desperate, and my family really, really needs help.

I think this could actually catch on & the next time one of my friends needs help, then lets do this, and lets
help each other out. My husband is not a man that asks help from others, his close friends and family know this of
him. But I will return the favor one day when one of my friends, his friends, when one of you end up in a boat like this

Not knowing anything about who this is, or where you acquired this information makes me unsure about scamming.

On that note, if this person really wanted to see their grandfather, a bus pass is going to be alot cheaper than driving a car there. On top of that they own a suburban... If you're that tight on money sell it and get a cheaper more reliable car.

Her message states that grandpa is doing well and recovering back home. Doesn't sound very life or death dire situation to me.

Call me a dick if you want, but I am a real stickler about giving away money unless I know or trust the person. You asked if anyone would be able to work and fix their car, thats one thing, but the message is just asking for money really. They are losing their house but they live in an apartment???? Sounds like the vehicle is in Marysville btw. Very fishy.

Im not a wealthy person, but if one of my friends is in need of help i will do whatever necessary to help them, but a complete stranger is another story.

Brian, you are not a dick. I think your B.S. meter is in the red like mine is. This sounds like a big scam. Driving 4 hours from time to time? Why would we repair the 4runner of an 80yr old in monterrey? The daughter lives in marysville and has a suburban? Why would the 4runner need to be repaired? She is just asking for money. If they were TW members it would be a different story. Good luck wishes for them and thats it.
