EVERYONE CHECK OP FOR UPDATE! Need to obtain permit for Xmas tree by mail or by stopping by ranger station m-f 8-5. PERMITS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON SITE. Since we're going on Saturday, the ranger station will be closed. Link and form is posted In OP.

Sorry for the late change and props to Cmj for noting that. BTW if submitting by mail get it in EARLY. Can take a while for turnaround.

FYI you only have to send one check for the total amt if you're paying for more than one permit.

Hey make sure everyone gets those permits ordered! Johnboy, Budman, Jason... I don't wanna see a bunch of "ah darn I forgot" posts on dec 6th. I know mailing something is kind of a lost art, might have to call your grandpa and ask him how to do it! Lol

    But seriously.

Put a check in the mail and two permit applications. Hopefully I get them back in time.

I credit Chris for the reminder. Such a responsible young man. His folks must be so proud :) I'm hoping this storm brings some snow up there, we shall see...

Sending in to the Upper Lake Ranger Station. With only one tree per household, does a member of said household need to be there for cutdown? I may not be able to send two... I called the ranger station. They send out permits the day after they receive em. Get em in!

This^ or tbh I bet if you just wrote out the info that's on the form they'd still hook u up. I don't believe they require the form as some official document or anything. They're pretty low key.
