Just because you've been getting the same 'brand' gas forever - doesn't necessarily mean it'll act the same way every time.
Other than the obvious differences - octane rating, different gas stations, different types of gas (additives, etc)....
The tanks underneath the gas stations.....could be close to empty, it could be old gas, or any other type of variable.
I'd wait until your done with this tank of gas and get another tank of gas - and see if the problem still exists.
