    ok, I thought it looked familiar. I been to the Yuba river. Water is crystal clear and pretty warm. I have never seen this trail tho. Gonna have to check it out one day :D

    Thanks. Glad you liked it. There were some areas on the trail where it gets narrow. Don't mind the branch scratches. Very few campsites on the river too.
    I will be posting a White Rim Trail video soon on youtube. M&M Overland Adventures. After that will be Cathedral Valley, Water Pocket Fold, Burr Trail and Grand Staircase Escalante trip. So if you ever been stay tuned cause it is beautiful country.

    Just got around to watching this. Took this road back maybe 7 years ago and camped up near the cemetery in Alleghany (Pass around the town to the right, cross the bridge, then climb the hill. Dirt road to the left and it's hidden back on a hilltop overlooking some of the town.). Also, take some time to play in the water where it crosses the middle fork (7:54 or so in the video) but beware the rattle snakes swimming across the river. We found there were a lot doing that! My wife also says that there was a story about a month ago about pot farmers shooting at the 4wd vehicles around Alleghany and they were warning to stay clear. BTW, good video and great voice!

    Cool vid. Last summer I drove through some of that when we decided to trek from Washington to Downieville. Instead of taking HWY 49 all the way around, we thought it would be way more fun to take the dirt. It was, but took a lot longer than we thought! We crossed the South, Middle, and North Yuba River and rode our mountain bikes in Downieville. I love that area!
