Good Place to Camp/Fish Off Road

    Know of any good 4x4 camping/fishing destination (higher the elevation the better). Was going to go backpacking in Sequioa (Pear lake) to go fishing and I ripped my foot while surfing (10 stitches). Any suggestions? I would love to be off the beaten path and fish a remote area.
