that shit is gonna be off the hook man! I might take my son if the funds are available..he loves Jason Aldean

I asked him "do you want to go to Disneyland (of course I won't be taking him with all that BS that's going on) or do you want to go see Jason Aldean"

He wants to go to Levi stadium....... I love that 4 year old :)

    Did you say Horse power?
It's been a long time since I did the 1/2 Dome hike from the tent camp. The first time I did it we got the the base of the dome and the cables were not up yet. (I don't know if they still take them down and then install them back in the spring). If you really want to piss yourself, go up without the cables. Still can't believe that I did it but it was more like crawling up hill than climbing.

The next time I went up the cables were there. The folks that I was with were freaked but I had no issues. :)

My one word of advice- if you buy pizza in the village after you've hiked all day and decide to take it back to your tent, make sure that there are no bears around...but that's another story.

Ugh need to buy new tires this month.
What do you guys recommend for 95% freeway driving, silent, and will last me more than 50k miles like my Maxxis Buckshots?

If you want something that is more aggressive than a street tire, I'd go with the Hankook ATM's. I have them and they are pretty much silent, yet have great tread wear and aggressive enough for some occasional wheeling. Otherwise if you just want a street tire you can't go wrong with Michelin.

    Hankook Dynapro ATM right?
Guess Walmart sells em, gonna check other places too.
And everything you said sounds good, since my current tires are pretty much done theyre so fucking loud.
I was gonna try to rip up my interior sometime soon and set up some sound deadening so reduce as much road noise as i can.

As for the diff, have a member pick it up and deliver it with the promise of beer and food :D

Yeah the Dynapro. I've had them for the past 5k or so and notice no tread wear and they are awesome in the rain and on the road. I had duratracs before these and I was surprised how much more quiet they are than the duratracs. I got mine from Discount during one of their sales and they are cheap enough without any sales. What size are you looking for?

I'm looking to ship the diff, so no pick up needed for me. ;)

Depending on the price of the hankooks, if you decide to go michelin then get the LTX AT2. I've got 70k miles on them and have 6/32nds tread remaining. Other guys are getting about 70k to the wear bars, so mine are going exceptionally long. They're fine for wheeling too. Excellent all around tire (great in the snow too).

Check out gearinstalls.com. If you look at the "Kevin's 91 runner" link you can see how they package them. Probably 75 pounds, they're pretty freakin' heavy.

265 and 17 if i remember correctly, stock tire size for my 03.
The prices on em are pretty cheap, i was looking at Walmart and Sears to buy em at but ill prob go to Sears cause i dont trust anything about Walmart.

    @moose:
Okay will do, gonna look em up right now.
That tread length sounds awesome, im looking for something like that.
Right now im driving 500-600 miles a week commuting back and forth to work.
Big plus if they actually increase my MPGs cause i dont wanna buy a 4banger

    I'll check that out thanks!

If you're looking for mileage and tread wear go with the Michelins. I figured you wanted an off road looking/performing tire but if you're looking just for commute get the Michelins. They might be more at first but those things last forever and do great in all kinds of weather.

Pretty sure you have 265/70/16 so look for those or if you want any smaller you can always go with 245/75/16.

Naw theyre 17s, just checked the sidewall.
And the good thing is that my truck isnt a 4x4 so the urge to wheel it isnt as strong as some peoples in here cougheveryonecough.
Its gonna be all highway commuting too.
And yeah im fine with spending a little extra, i have 1k set aside just for tires.

Gotcha did you get rid of your stock rims? I'd go with the Michelins for sure then.
