Best place for lift install? SonomaCounty

I just wanted to know if anyone knew of a good cheap place for a lift install because i dont have a spring compressor or the heavy duty tools to install. Thanks

 

What kind of lift are you doing? A spring compressor can be borrowed from most auto parts stores. If you dont mind going to sac... i could help you here.

Actually I think i might just buy a spring compressor.

 

you can install rear blocks, rear shocks, and rear AAL's? what about install a front coilover and diff. drop kit?

 

What type of coils/ shocks did you get? We just had a mod day on Saturday and are probably having another in about a month or so if you want to wait until then.

 

i bought OME coils, TRD bilstein shocks, and coil spacers. and im installing rear TRD bilstein shocks and rear blocks with also AAL's.

would i be able to run 265/85/16 M/T's on about a 4" lift in front and 3" in rear?

 

I can help you install any of that. but you wont get 4" lift with that. 3" is about the limit for the front before you run into major issues with suspension geometry. to go higher than 3" on a 4x4 you need a bracket drop lift.

 

i cant run lift springs that give 1.5" or 2" of lift and run a 2" to 3" coil spacer on the front? whats the bracket drop kit?

 

No... any of these kinds of lifts mess up the stock geometry. 3" max before you encounter clearance issure with upper control arms and coild buckets mostly. a drop kit uses a large bracket to relocate the mounting position of the lower control arms among other things. this allows you to get more clearance on a 4x4. The drop bracket kits are usually 6". you sould spend some time in the suspension section. if you need more info on lift choices let me know
