I'm kinda bummed some of the obstacles will be closed, but its still going to be a ton of fun.

The obstacles are hard...some if your not locked front and rear and on mud terrains...They really arent that fun...muddy trails are better!

I hate mud but I always play in it. I should stop because it will eventually ruin my truck.

If you are afraid of scratches and dents or breaking something then you shouldnt be at offroad parks or on trails lol thats what i believe

Its not about the scratches... its about the fliping and rolling the truck

When muddy the trail are treacherous... I've done them when raining and muddy and the risk of sliding off a cliff is VERY high... probably very stupid.

true... but going to hollister and doing the trail right after it rains/while raining is very dangerous, the trails flood and you get about 12" of very slippery mud on them. Most trails that are worth doing are near cliffs and steep hills with tight turns, which when wet and muddy is dangerous. Trust me I've done them and it was not smart.

Hollister Hills trails go from basic fire trails (boring and easy) to very hard quickly.

    3 levels
    Green - fire roads
Blue - narrow road, steep inclines, sharp turns, lots of ruts
Black - most need dedicated trail rig w/ experience

Blue is dangerous when wet and muddy, black in almost impossible when muddy

The obstacles are not that bad... you can see the whole thing so you know what you're getting into.

The problem with the trails is that once you start it you have to finish it and you can quickly get over your head... and you can't turn around

but wheel at your own risk.

I've been lost there a couple of times. Going up trails that I'm not suppose to etc. then leaving the place with wolverine scratches all over the truck. Ohhh good times

if its dry its not bad at all... its just when you factor in the lack of traction and the low visibility...

you have to remember this is not a flat park, it is 90% hills... ie Hollister Hills

Yeah that's true it all depends on work anyways. I'll ask someone to see if I can tag along if I'm available.

A lot of people are going to mod day, so might cut down on the people available.

Do you have a locker? I would stick with the easier prerunner trails.
