so i just picked this up recently and the guy who sold it to me said he couldnt find the wiring kit so he sold the woofer to be for dirt cheap, i thought oh no big deal i'll just wire this up my self and end up starring at it for 2 hours saying WTF. here is the set up

normal subs have 3 pins: pos, ground, and rem but this has 6 two pins for each. im really comfussed now and apperantly you can even buy the wiring kit anymore so i gotta make one SMH

It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
    Looks like:

    two hot
    two ground
two REM(hook this up and your amplifier will shut off when you shut your car/headunit off)

Your going to need a 6 pin female connector to utilize the stock connection on that also

It's nothing crazy..it just needs two hots going in, obviously 2 going out..and guess two REMs..
I'm assuming because it's a tube..so it has the amp and sub in one?

    Edit: something like this..

    http://www.google.com/products/cata...sa=X&ei=Tq8vTrDBB_LTiAK6v9Qr&ved=0CJgBEPMCMAI

Just make sure you get the right size pin diameters..

Yeah, according to the "manual"..it's just a normal install.
Two of each that's all..it's probably because like you and I said..amp/sub combo thingy.

Go to Radioshack, should have female pin connectors..hopefully they have one spaced right with right diameter so it will be plug in play.

If not..you could always solder them to pin connector if you have a good steady hand and wanna get frisky with the install..
    I wouldn't advise it though..

I'm not 100% sure if it's stating you need 2 seperate hots, 2 seperate grounds, and 2 seperate remote shut offs..
or would a 2-into-1 work(1 hot, 1 ground, 1 rem into two to connect to the unit)
    The manual doesnt state..

Only one way to find out..try it lol

Yeah, no hurries. Wiring may seem like a pain in the ass, but after the first couple installations, simple as they come
