    Spending sometime in Fairbanks Alaska with my parents and today we went on a trip up to the Arctic Circle. This is the same road that the Ice Road truckers take up from Fairbanks. Took the Dalton Highway north.

    Wow, nice pics. The Dalton hwy looks way different without all the snow like on IRT. $4.50 a gallon isn't that much more than in Hawaii, lol, we're about $3.65 for premium :(

    That's only one of four places you can get gas up there. The nearest place from there was about 120 miles away.

    Down in Anchorage we are paying 3.50 for premium. I am pretty sure that this 4.50 gas was not premium :(.
