i thinks thats what there called, anyways i picked up my taco used and the inner fender walls that block stuff from the engine bay are gone on both sides, would it be bad for my engine bay if i decide to go through some rivers or mud pools, if so where can i find some replacement ones, any advice would help.

Try Ebay , i dont think it would hurt your engine much, i see people driving without hoods quite often.

They just keep road crap from getting in your engine bay but if my truck was missing them I'd replace them because I hate my engine being covered in mud and road grime.

Watch where your air intake is relative to the water.

you will be ok... not like the plastic walls keep anything out...

i dont have mine either and i run through mud and water all the time...

it actually makes it easier to keep an eye out on motor mounts and other misc little brackets that come loose in the engine bay...

The bigger thing it does is prevent rocks and debris from being flung into your engine bay. I'd be a lot more worried about those little projectiles hitting something or somehow miraculously getting caught in the serph belt or something lol... Still it's a minimal chance. I'd still get it, with lift/all pro bumper and stuff I'll have to trim a bit but I still like it there, makes cleaning mud and crap up easier too.
