i have always loved flowmaster, and the 40 is an awesome muffler. i got it for sound only, so any performance with it would be bare minimal. some people will say it drones in the cab, but i can say, that nope..........no drone as far as im concerned. you can barely tell its there on the interstate. at idle, it has a little tone, but when you get on it.........it growls awesomely!

Does anyone know for sure if anything other than the offroad will have any kind of LSD/locker with the traction control? I think the general consensus is that the Offroad will have the locker, and prob have the traction control disabled in 4Low.

Some type of traction adding rear diff is just as much needed with 4WD as with 2WD; cause if you let it dig down and bury the axles, you will find out you have 1 front and 1 rear spinning only; and 3 is better than 2.

The Off Road only has a locker, when its not locked its an open diff.

SR5 and TRD Sport both have LSD (optional on SR5).

I got the optional LSD on my truck. Now I wish I had done the Locker, but I like my SR5 interior. What's a guy to do?
