best mud terrain out there???

I was wondering what the best m/t tire out there is. I know everyone has there own thoughts, but I just wanted to know. I am thinking about getting pro comp xtreme m/t.

youre going to get sooo many opinions for this question...

I LOVED my Trxus M/Ts when I had them...the Mastercraft Courser M/Ts arent bad either...and both fairly inexpensive

I've only ever run BFG M/T's and have been very happy with them.

GoodYear MTR's are another popular one

I was running Goodyear Wrangler MT/R on my 95 Tacoma. They are badass tires but costly, about $168 for a 31x10.5. They actually had low road noise for such an aggressive tire.

I think the Toyo Open Country M/T is the best. Should last for around 55k miles and is in my opinion the best looking tire out there.

I don't think I would have enough cash for the Toyos. Especially when buying 35's.

The MTRs are the best all around tire as you also get good wear as in I put 20K on my 33s and the ystill had another 20K in them easy.
They are a tough tire though
They are not the best for mud though as they clog and it takes a lot to spin clean.

BFG MTs are really good if you are doing mud as they are my second choice

it should be known that not all tires designated as MT or M/T are necessarily "Mud terrain" tires

I know the Goodyear Wrangler M/TR is actually considered a "Max traction" tire

how about the gt radial adventuro tires?? they make an m/t and an a/t. i have seen both, and for offroading, im probably gonna get a set of the m/t's.......awesome looking tread, and the 265/75/16 are 10ply tires, so they should be pretty damn tough tires.

I've had Kumho MT's, Swamper IROK's, and Truxus MT's. the Kumho's were my favorite, they were quiet and worked very well and lasted the longest.

I think the buckshots and bighorns by maxxis are relatively inexpensive, I know the buckshots perform well because they are on my hunting truck which sees a good bit of mud. As far as longevity goes I'm not sure.

In my opinion the Mickey Thompson Baja Claw, I had that on my 01 Silverado absoluty awesome tires. If you don't want to go rotational My opinion there is the Goodyear Wrangler MTR, put those on my 04 dodge and they wore a little better than the rotational because of being able to rotate. Both great tires though.
