    Yeah me too, the worst part was the driver had "just" looked out the sliding rear as the snatch strap was being hooked up. Thank goodness he turned around when he started forward, the hook went completely through his front windshield through the slider.

    I experienced something like this once... My friend got his Z71 stuck a while back and i couldn't get him out with my F150. So i called a buddy of mine with a 3500 Dodge Ram 4x4, we were idiots and used a chain instead of a rope. While we were getting recovered the chain broke and flew into the windshield between us in his cab. That was the last time i would ever use or sit in a truck being recovered by a chain instead of a strap.

    not gonna lie ive had this happen once while pulling out 16ft john boat up a hill with the truck so we could load it into the trailer. had a tow strap hooked from the back of the trailer to the boat, strap came off of the trailer and went flying toward the guy holding the generator down in the boat. missed his head by about 3 inches
