Type of winch? Load capacity?

    A lack of responses?

    The M8000 will be enough for your Tacoma. If you want 'more winch' it's not for lack of pulling power. Spend some money on a quality snatch block, like the yarding blocks sold HERE, a handful of 3/4" screw pin shackles, and some straps. The M8000 will do well but any winch needs some kit. Then think about some Syn rope, lighter, stronger, safer, can be spliced on the trail, floats, etc...

    I also have the M8000 and it works just fine. But, I guess bigger will never hurt.
