thanks for checking out the post...i'll see what else i can find for pics on the trail...great trail for slightly modified trucks and there are some features along the trail to offer a little more for those who want...snow sticks around there through july up high and can offer some fun snow riding, just dont travel alone because up high, trees are scarce to help pull you out...i'm usually always down to travel this trail if anyone would like to roll up there over the summer...

yea it's not a bad trail...definitely not a hard or technical trail but good to get out and run over sh!t while surrounded by great views...i usually run it 3-4 times a summer/fall...it's quite the change from spring time with snow up high to the wet season to dry summer and then transition to the fall with the leaf changes and colder weather/snow...

how's the trails down in Co springs?

I was scouting a map and google earth last night drooling over all the trails up here. Its insane how many you can link. I will be out every day I have off when the snow goes away.

    Camping ftw

This is a yearly run and an awesome trail. You should take it from the Elephant Hill side. We have been up there when it was all muddy in near the top. Quite a challenge to get through but fun. I have to make sure to get there again this year. :D

Not sure. There are plenty of spots elsewhere though.

it doesn't look like set campsites up there but i dont see why you wouldnt be able to...i'd keep some distance from the lake and stream to keep any rangers happy, but seems like it'd be fair game IMO

Man I'm really anxious to go wheelin again! I sold my Jeep in Nov. and with the stock rugged trails on the Tacoma we haven't been out all winter. Hopefully we can get some good turnouts on some trail rides this summer.
