I got my tacoma and a dirt bike just looking for some kinda desert like trails like mojave but closer to louisiana. We have all kinds of mudding spots but i thought it would be cool to do some kinda desert stuff and mud really messes up trucks :) so any ideas?

I am not aware of any deserts in Louisiana... so, maybe contact an off road or 4WD club in that state and ask them where are some trails for you.

    Otherwise, go west!

You said you have a dirt bike. The AMA has various off road events. They are usually put on in conjunction with a local-level club. Those clubs should be able to give you an idea of the terrain in different areas. But my short time in LA would indicate that dry air does NOT exist.

    check this out. http://www.sandhillatv.com/

Me and my buddies go here all the time. You can't drive your truck in the sand but I always have a blast on my dirtbike. Its the closest thing to the dunes that we have around here.
