    Now...you'll never get stuck even if you try. You'll spend more time winching everyone else! That and stumps out of your yard. Vehicles in ditches...etc.
    Congrats on the purchase!

    Make sure you unspool the line and respool under torque/weight. Each time you use it, you should respool it properly and evenly to keep that cable maintained.

    Thanks, I was reading it in the documentation that came with it. I'm really considering going with some Amsteel synthetic line and replacing the roller fairlead with a hawse fairlead.

    Price out the synthetic line and see if you could sell your wire/fairlead. No sense in changing the wire unless you have extra money floating around. If you get a lot of usage out of the wire - it won't take long before kinks start showing up and you'll have an excuse to put money towards the synthetic rope.
