    Wanted a place to put photos from my trip in August 2010 from Denver>Buena Vista>Telluride

    once in Buena Vista we took Cottonwood Pass to Taylor Reservoir and down Taylor River Canyon...then more roads until we hit Ouray area and took Black Bear Pass down into Telluride (IMO, the only way to enter into Telluride!)

    i was going to a phish show, so there is a possibility that i did not:eek:

    almost needed some when i was at one of the switchbacks off cambered and slid down toward the edge about 6-10"

    Awesome pics! I've done the Million Dollar Highway loop through Ouray, Silverton, and down to Durango once on Harley's with my brother and another time in my old Audi...AMAZING drive. Since I got the Taco I've been chompin at the bit to be able to take Black Bear into Telluride :drool:

    hoping to get back there at the end of the summer and do the BBP to Imogene pass loop

    the fall up here is a great time when all the aspens are changing colors. the weather is usually drier too

    it's amazing how many people haven't seen snow before!

    i grew up with snow as part of my life and honestly don't think i could live without a winter..

    looking to do a big trip in september to the san juans again...can't freekin wait!

    will be going back down black bear to scare the piss out of the gf!

    maybe a lake city > silverton > telluride > ouray trip all via trails (with minimal roads)
