    There has been a series on the construction of the two Raptor Luxury Prerunners being built at Stewart's Raceworks in Santee, CA. Our son Josh is one of the techs at Raceworks, and this video (the latest) features Josh...

    It gives some background on the development and describes the market for luxury prerunners... Craig Stewart (Ivan's son) is the owner of Raceworks, he and Josh's fellow tech Keith are also interviewed. The trucks are shown being tested out at Plaster City.

    Thanks guys! Our son Josh has been on a SoCalTacoma run and you may have seen him in my Memorial Day Baja trip photos, too. He is a super nice guy and if you need something special to make your truck Baja Proven... just ask! In the meantime, I will see if a TW members tour of Raceworks is possible, for those of you in San Diego County. Ivan's son and shop owner Craig Stewart drives a Tacoma, by-the-way!

    You know you have too much money when... you build a tube chassis for a $50,000+ truck. :D

    This is totally over the top, mind blowingly, awesome. I would pay money for a 30min ride in that thing. Your son has an awesome job.

    ^^ its not even a raptor actually, they go to a junk yard, get a f-150 cab and build off of that. everything is completely custom made to make it look like a raptor

    That's right! Just looking at Video #1 shows you that just the cab frame is the only thing that is a Ford pickup (an F-150)... the rest was all built in SoCal and mostly in Santee, CA at Raceworks.
