    La Plata Canyon, Just north of Hesperus, CO which is west of Durango...at 12500 ft! One tire is on snow and other tire has about 2 feet (if that) of edge before it drops about a thousand feet before you even hit treeline. Adrenaline junkie shit!

    That pic was taken on the last week of sept.2010.........I live in Illinois but have been to the ouray area several times .Sure is my favorite place to visit in the fall My wife and I got married by the Telluride airport in 96........we love the mountains and the trails

    I might try to make this trip next fall. That way we can see all the colors changing. If we do end up going ill let you know. You can be our guide.
