I'm lucky enough to have some awesome BLM land right behind my house. Great off roading all around where I live!

5 mile pass, near Cedar Fort Utah.

I'm extremely jealous of people who have good trails close by, I'd say its a ~2hr drive to anywhere halfway interesting...Ohio fails

I no longer just go out to trails to drive. I drive to get to the trails that take me to scenic wonders. Favorite stomping ground for the past two years has been Death Valley National Park. Bout six hours to get there and well worth it. Now once you are in the park you can drive hundreds of miles off road if you like.

There are a bunch of wheeling places here around Reno within a 1/2 hour to hour drive. But I'll go pretty far to get to a good place... about 6-7hrs drive 1 way is my current max, but I want to hit moab and its like 12-13hrs.

Closest legal trails are about 2 hours out. I hate living in California some times...... But most of my off roading is at my friends ranch about an hour away.

Vermont dirt roads 5 minutes in every direction. Some tame, others for the die hard only. I feel sorry for those who use GPS and it tells them the shortest way is just over this hill. It doesn't say anything about the 12" ruts or mud holes.
I laugh now, but I was up north driving my Mudder in law's Matrix, using GPS, it told us to go 40 miles down a dirt road...wish I had my truck then.
