Yes, that is true... others reading this may not have a manual and it is for them that I try and cover all bases. Thank you!

The most common occurance of beeping in L4 has been folks with an automatic and thinking P and N are the same... or subconciously being in one instead of the other.

No harm done posting information that applies to the needs of the many instead of just to the needs of the few... or the one.

 

But you only covered one base, and not the base the OP was on.

To reiterate what others have said, the beeping means 4-lo is not properly engaged.

Also, when driving in sand, and at speeds above ~15mph, you should probably be in 4-hi.

Why do people hate ATRAC so much? It is really useful in some situations!

Nobody hates atrac at all..and everyone agrees it works great for a lot of situations

 

Then why does everyone get their panties in a twist about it?

Your dealer should have asked a few more questions before just saying it can't be done. What if you didn't think to ask at TW?

 

I couldn't agree more...it's getting out of hand. Is there anything the mods can do to control it? Alot of the options like atrac are nice and all but to make a point to slide it into post's that have nothing to do with it is ridiculous and makes a certain someone out to be totally obsessed. His atrac infatuation has got to a point where it's almost scary...
