I live in Sealy (near Houston) and I'm looking for some other Tacoma owners that want to go offroading. I'm planning a trip to Big Bend some time late next year, but I am wanting to do some short trips this Summer. Let me know if you want to get together.

I don't know too many places around here to go. I was thinking about going to Matagorda maybe the first weekend in April.

Check out the link in my signature. Matagorda is a good place to go and play around. My dad and I have hit up Sargent Beach which has some beach access trails and plenty of open space too.

Ya, Sargent is a good idea too. I've been there a few times, but haven't wheeled there.

My first baby is being born in May, so May isn't gonna be good for me. That's another reason I'm trying to get an early Spring (April) trip knocked out. Sargent or Matagorda will work for me. It would be nice having someone that knew where the best places to go are.

Honestly I have no clue where good places are, I'm a dumb 17 year old high school kid who has a 2wd truck. The places I have been using have all been shut down due to construction. Oh and congrats!

Thanks! Well the good thing about going wheeling with someone with 4x4 is, you can get pulled out! I'm probably going no matter what to Sargent or Matagorda. So, if anyone is game, lets do it

I won't be able to make it as I have prom in April as well as a couple of camping trips. Feel free to join in on the Texas BS thread

April is just a time I'm planning right now. But any time anyone around South or SW Houston wants to go wheeling, PM me, or add to this post
