Went camping the past few days in the Ochoco mountains in Oregon. It was sunny/snowing/raining/ and 25-30mph wind gusts. Not to mention the cougar (mountain lion) tracks outside of our camp. Overall it was way fun. Did some offroading and had to accept defeat on one trail. Dam snow!! About 5000' elevation

    Leaving town after lunch

We got up in the morning and went on a little adventure.

We had to accept defeat on this trail but this is a good picture. 4 low wouldn't even make it

It was fun but cold! The trails were all muddy and snowy but the snow was frozen and crusty so it was hard to make it very far

I live at 5000' and I ain't in the mountains I'm in the prairie! Funny how different our country is. Drove over plenty of mountain passes over 12,000' and a few over 13,000'. Jealous yall can camp already, still way to cold to camp comfortably here though. Gets down to single digits an low teens at night still. Looks like yall had fun!

It's not really mountains that's what they just call them. I live At about 3500'. The mountains around here are to the west at 9,000-14,000'. We went east though. But I bet it is still dam cold there. I have a buddy who lives in Colorado. Late winter= way less camping. Hope you can get out soon though
