Damn I was all excited for a minute. I thought I was going to find out about something that didn't suck.

Finding good trails around here is damn near impossible

I miss the outer banks, and if you know a military member, Camp Lejeune has some fun trails to cruise through.

Went off-roading Saturday in Sedona and did some dispersed camping on the edge of Schnebly Hill. This area requires a truck to get to and just opened back up for camping on April first. Did a solo overnight trip to prep for an interview I had on Monday.

That's awesome, great shots! How is the wheeling in Sedona? I have hiked there but that was the extent of my journey.

The wheeling is good there. All the trails are really close together and are very scenic. The trails are all pretty easy in my terms and are great for people that haven't been out a lot before or someone that wants to bring the family. You can do everything out there in a Stock 4x4 if you air down a hair. I try to go out there about every other month if I can find the time.

The place where I am camped you can pull your truck up right to the edge if you wanted to.

Go ham over CB. Better range and the sound quality is better IMO

That's my plan. However I've heard a few people say not many people have ham. If you're in a group it's not as useful.

What are your thoughts on this?

This past weekend I volunteered for the MS150. Every crew vehicle had a Ham setup due to the support vehicles being spread over the 75 mile course.

I wish I had had a Ham setup to listen in.

x2.... out of the 20 or so locals I wheel with no one has a ham radio and everyone has a CB.

People have been trying to talk me into the benifits of Ham for years and I could care less because there are zero advantages to having one by yourself.

Exactly this, I'm interested in the benefits but it does me no good being the only one.
