I used to use 3 of these, but I now have bed drawers so I only need 1 for my kitchen stuff. Not the best for interior volume, but they're sturdy as hell.

I was following a couple over on YT driving from Cali to Argentina and back in an old 4Runner and they ran into the Drive Nacho Drive group and a few others down in South America. Small world. I'd love to just hit the road for a few years and see all sorts of places and people. You learn a lot in other cultures, and hopefully become less ignant merican as well.

Ok I need some insight here from expo folks! I'm spec'ing out a custom swing-out tire carrier to be added to my All Pro rear bumper. Aside from the wheel, I'm considering adding some provisions for fuel cans.

What I need input on is which style to go with? Rotopax? Spectre style? Others? Mounted flat, or in line with the truck?

Anyone with experience please chime in. I have a bit of time before the bumper is getting built, but I need to know what system ill be using and have the items in hand before the bumper gets built.

I've been leaning towards the Rotopax b/c of their versatility, but their not cheap, and very unit-specific.

Pitch in y'all. Pics of your setup appreciated too! Thx

Spectre, because they're like the ones I used in the military and they're one of the few things we had that I didn't hate.

I agree with using standard cans because they are interchangeable.

I dumped my jerry cans for rotopax. I had (1) 5 gallon fuel can and (1) 5 gallon water can. Replaced those with (3) 2 gallon rotopax gas, (1) 3 gallon rotopax gas, and (2) 2 gallon rotopax water. I believe they not only look better than jerry cans but with the rotopax there are no possiblities of rusting, which was starting to happen with my jerry cans both the gas and water. I agree they are expensive, but I bought mine from rotopax and used the TW discount and was able to stack 2 other coupon codes on as well.
