I finally got to wheel Corbin around a bit...I met up with some friends from FJCruisers and we got about 30 trucks of varied mod status out on the trails. A few bone stockers (like me and the run leader-as he had sunk his previous FJ) and a few guys who were modded out (There was a 6 inch lift on an FJ, and a FourRunner with a great one off set up rear bumper and a great build all the way around.

Click on any of the pics to see the whole collection:

    The NICE FourRunner:

The trails end- We did a group photo and then lit a fire and cooked some shrimps...

Not TOO much mud- It was a dry day and the one GOOD water crossing had consumed an FJ in the recent past- and the HOLE the truck left was still there- so we had to go around...

PS- If you are ever near Pensacola- let me know and I can show you this stuff!!

Yeah...Totally worth it- If you like to camp/hike/hunt/fish/offroad/ride dirtbikes or quads/or horses.

You have to have a pass (See the info below) It's 10 bucks for the regular pass and like 50 for the hunting/fishing pass- or a 100 dollar or more ticket if you get caught.

I'm not a big hunter- but the info packet has seasons for Deer, Hog, Turkey, Quail, Gray Squirrel, Rabbit, Dove, Raccoon, Possum, Coyote, Nutria, Skunk and Beaver.

There are a fair few rules- but it seems like good area.

Well, I think we should get a panhandle meet going sometime.

There are a few more people on here that live near us than I thought.

I am over in Niceville so I am up for a meet and greet sometime.

You can definately hunt out of EGLIN reservation for deer, hogs, whatever. There is some good fishing out there too. Deer season can be tricky though as you ussually run into many other hunters while out there. I live on the edge of the reservation so I just shoot them and drag them into my back yard.

Uhh. Hmm. Idk. I'm busy as a mother right now.

Yea, I still find time for TW.

I will put up a thread specific for just Florida Panhandle.

The we can see what comes up.

Looks like fun. Best part of Pensacola that I found was McGuire's. They had one of the best Porters I've ever had. And the steak was good.

Not trying to bring this thread back from the dead, but TS that looks like Scavans Point! I live in Milton and my in-laws live right off of blackwater bay. We go to Scavans by boat all the time. I've only made the trip with my taco once so far though.
