yea it was kinda a last second thing and the chain was all we had, i gotta look into a strap

curious as to what the advantages/disadvantages are of pulling forward/backward are timmer? i didnt think thered be a difference but im down for learning somethin new haha

I'll be honest, I got really stuck in my truck a few months back, I was alone, no friend with me to help me out. A guy came along offered help, pulled out a chain. What was I going to say,no? I broke two rules that day. Never wheel alone, and have the right equipment, my box of gear was sitting in my garage. Now there is a strap in the box, AND in the jack storage space. Take it easy, like I said nice pictures though. Kevin

I think pulling in reverse is a safety issue. If the chain or strap breaks, it's coming straight for your face and when it comes to motor vehicles, anything in reverse is more dangerous than forward.
